Buy a Husquvarna or a Husaberg. Pretty much a KTM, but without the price tag and having to deal with KTM owners.

The CR's are great bikes. for trails you don't need much more than a 250. Depending on weight. the only thing I would say is look to see if you can adjust the carb for as much low end as you can. You'll need it.

if you weigh 195 that's good with a 250. If it was me I'd look at bike bandit to see how hard it is to find parts for that old of a 250. Probably not hard but something to check.
