Personal question for all of you.
You go to look at a car you're interested in, and prior to going to look at it, you are told there is nothing wrong with the car, it's services are up to date, and it's ready to go. Now, when you get there:
- The airbag light is on in the car
- The car stumbles and idles rough for a few seconds upon start-up
- Only 3 of the 10 readiness monitors are set in the ECU (claiming that he replaced the battery, a few weeks ago mind you)
- You notice visible signs of the car being lowered (rubber on the inside of the fender lips, scrubbed sidewalls of the "new" tires, staggered tire sizes when they should be square, etc.), but the owner denies knowing about any of it.
- The transmission whirrs and hums (also denying there is anything wrong with it, and the "dealer said it was normal") when he takes you for a "test drive", but never gets above 55mph or comes to a complete stop.
All this, after driving an hour and half to see the car, and then the owner doesn't even let you drive it, stating he "has bad luck with accidents and doesn't want anything to happen".
How would that make you feel.Last edited by MommysLittleMonster; 10-21-2014, 03:49 PM.BB6 Prelude . . E36 ///M3 . . VA WRX Limited . . 1969 Nova
