i checked the plugs they were toast so replaced those, cleaned points, checked if choke was stuck, air filter was ok

i think something out of the gas tank fouled the carb

You can, however, plug up the fuel line leading to said carb. When was the last time the carb was cleaned?

Yep. Would like 3k for them with tires and 15mm H&R spacers. They'll get refinished before I sell them too. The polish is looking really rough right now.
