I'm guessing in his case he is running it there because it is a Z32 afm and because his intake is so high in the air it is hard to make it stay on with the car bouncing around over bumps.

Usually people put it on the cold side right in front of the throttle body so the car continues to run even if you pop a cooler pipe

most cars have a crank case ventilation system that sucks oil vapors out of the crank case and into the intake to burn off.

We need more info. Is it the owner of the silver 911 Turbo you guys did the radiator on?

No. A 996 Turbo owner came into the shop today to talk with us about installing some V-banded cat deletes on his exhaust.

In short, he wants us to get the Porsche on the dyno for a "before," then do all the cutting, metal prep, test-fitting and welding for the exhaust (a fair bit, since we have to add V-bands to where the existing cat flanges are on the exhaust as well), then back on the dyno for an "after" vide as well, all in one day.

And he showed up two hours after work started today.

Plus he has a Harley sticker on his Porsche. That is also kinda weird.

lol. Obviously he has no idea how much work it takes.

Also, Harley stickers on any car are a dead giveaway that the owner is a bit of a tool. I can't stand the majority of Harley people.
