I helped my father in law change the oil in his truck yesterday... apparently he hadn't changed the oil in the truck since he had gotten it.

10,000 miles/almost a year ago.

I should add that it was conventional oil that the dealship had used, paired with a cheap "made in china" oil filter.

My job down there would pay me about 49k a year too.

If I got a grade increase I'd make like 60k a year.....
And I found one job there that is the same shit I do but like 4 grades up, so 83k a year.

Don't forget how cheap the taxes are in the south, too. My grandparents had a house 5 minutes from Myrtle Beach, they paid like $800 a year in property taxes for a 1-acre plot.
