My friend the welding wizard who made me the star pips for the Crown made some more to put on his track 180 too.
But the regulation would not allow him to run an exhaust that protrudes by more than 100mm, so he put them on his street S15.

Just got a call from my buddy. Apparently his mom was paying a tree removal expert to cut some trees by their house. Apparently one landed on his S13.

This is the first set that he kinked on an upwards angle, he might maybe make 1 more set for my 180, but he doesn't plan to be making them to sell coz he would want like $1k for a set of pipes to even be worth it, coz they take many hours of tig welding just to make the star shaped pipe.

Damn that is unfortunate, I hope the company pays heaps of money as compensation.

He works as a TIG welder and makes this stuff on his lunch breaks and in his time outside work.

He told me to come in to his work on a Sat some time to play around and TIG weld some stuff

Yeah I gota hit up a few wrecking yards to find some, been pretty busy with the job trial and stuff. Need to get this job, so that I can join the fun of modifying cars.
