Well they did lower the standard a few years ago to boost enrollment numbers, before then it was pretty strict. I only looked into it as an option to do IT/IS course through the army while getting paid if I did not get into a Uni. But it has like a fine print that you must serve for like 4 years after your course finishes, which i wouldn't be keen on.

Might be a good experience, but during the time I was finishing high school Aus still had troops in Iraq and Afghanistan and I wasn't realy keen on visiting either of those places.
