That's more or less the plan. Keller is gonna take a look at it today.Originally posted by 180roman View PostJust ignore it until it goes away or becomes a problem Andrew

I'd rather it be injectors instead of a TCT, only because Hybrid Racing and my OEM service manual both recommend that the engine be removed for TCT replacement. Injectors I can just swap in with some fuel spillage.

It's a straight up tick, and it's only evident at or above 2500 RPM, then it disappears under engine noise somewhere around 4-5k RPM. One of more of my pulleys might be on the way out, so that's just what I'm hoping it is.

If a pulley fails and the belt comes off, I just lose the water pump, alternator and power steering. If I'm within 10 min. of work, I can just get it there as quickly as possible. If not, it's just a tow back to the shop, which I get for mad cheap.

Losing a water pump = car shouldn't be driven for any length of time. You'll effectively boil the coolant in the block in a matter of 5 minutes when the car is at operating temperature.BB6 Prelude . . E36 ///M3 . . VA WRX Limited . . 1969 Nova

You'd be surprised. I drove my Prelude almost 15 miles off the battery alone once. (belt shredded, had to limp it as close to home as I could)Originally posted by Dudermagee View PostWouldn't be able to make it that far without an alternator anywaysBB6 Prelude . . E36 ///M3 . .
