What I'm contemplating is whether i will need an S13 or an R32 crossmember to fit the RB correctly. I want it moved as close to the firewall as possible.

Also contemplating where exactly the crossmember has to sit to ensure the front wheel is in the center of the guard and I can get good clearance lock to lock

Well it would depend on what cross member would end up being better over all with how the engine would sit back and how you would be able to get the suspension geometry you might be after.

Well the Z's L motor is the predecessor to the RB, so even the bellhousing bolt pattern is almost identical, only 2 bolts don't line up.

I guess that is true but it is good being able to run different parts and such without really having to modify anything.

Yeah it's manuel.
Only thing is because it's a S2 the gearbox is apparently slightly weaker than the S3 manuels.

I have no clue honestly, haven't thought about the R31 much lately since im just waiting for money then for parts to get here.
Motor and gearbox both have 162,XXXkms on them.
