any of you still play gta story, i'm encountering strange people lately, like the zombie impersonator who suddenly gets a phonecall, or the old veteran, they blip blue on the map and you can interact a little with them, but no "mission" progress

I'm pretty sure its one of a few nonlisted or one of the random events that don't actually go towards your progression.

Because there are quite a few missions and/or random events that don't actually count towards overall game progression.

Those are non-event occurrences, the zombie guy is just there for shits and giggles by Rockstar. Same goes for the Vet.

Its probably one of the events that only happen at set times on set days like the FIB Buffalo and FIB Granger spawn out near Sandy Shores when 2 FIB guys are demanding 2 scientists to so something and thats at Wednesday 10AM ingame time.
