So keeping in mind that my wife picked this vehicle out, should I get Jetta TDI or the 2.5? The 2.5 SEL (nav, remote start etc) only comes in black, graphite (or whatever it is) and 2 tones of silver. The TDI comes in Tornado Red and that Brown color.

I have two "issues" with the SEL. Next year they are switching from the 2.5 (apparently it's reliable but most people **** it) and the SEL doesn't come in Tornado Red. I test drove a black on black SEL and didn't mind it. I may just tell my wife to pick the color too.

At this point I'm just saving money for a house. Who knows, by midsummer I may be bored and I might just drop a couple grand on something fun to drive to and from work and to mess with on the weekends.

I could, but our biggest issue is space in the A3. Every vehicle we test drove yesterday was bigger than the A3 by a mile. We need more space.

The fuel efficiency is something to consider, and from what I understand they are very reliable. Color isn't even factoring into my saying diesel. Lol don't those things peel like none other?
