like other people said to fit shit. kinda. e39 trunks are really small. i hardly have rear passangers.

I have the ski pass and that's alright but its lets in alot of road noise and not enough noise from the subwoofers in my trunk... if I had fold down seats I could build a wall just behind them with the subs mounted on it that was properly soundproofed and then have a fold down section on that wall as well for skis and hookers.

More bass + less road noise + more carrying ability seems like a win win.

in the meantime before I can source the fold seats ima just take me seat back out, cut out the bulkhead and build the subwoofer wall.

I guess Ill just tell my rear passengers to huddle forward with the subs right behind their backs. because fuck them
