I'd rather get a set on the cheap and relip the outers, anno the lips, get new bolts, PC the faces.
If I can get a set for less than 1k then I can do all that shit for like another 1200 or so.

Rock em for a season and sell for a profit.

thats still going to be over 3k

If I get a set for 1500, I can get new lips for about 800 and PC for 400.

Dude, when buying new you can get the exact specs that you need with the correct brake clearance, so you can run BBK.

When widening you will not get the same result

But if I want a custom set that no one else has, then I have to rebuild.

The only real concern is making sure they clear BBK, but even that is a minor issue if I get the Q45 calipers (they have the same clearance of my OEM calipers).
