  • YO I have a question for you then. Just put a clutch into a 91 integra... and now the clutch engages really sudden and the pedal is a lot more springy than it was before. What gives?

      • All anyone tells me is that its cause its cable driven, and that's how it works.

        Wut, it was cable driven on the old clutch and it didn't do that shit!!

            Maybe a difference in the pressure plate. different finger springiness (technical term) or lever ratio?

                  Yeah that's what I thought too, but damn, what I bought was an OEM replacement, idk why they'd have a different pressure...

                        How badly worn was the old disc? The other thing I can think of is the clutch pedal is adjusted too tight.

                                Old disc was probably 20% left.

                                Where is the pedal adjustment? If its the cable that goes to the clutch fork, I've messed with that already and it doesn't help. That just changes where it engages in the swing of the pedal, but the engagement is just as harsh.
