Well this R31 is just going to be a track hack sort of thing and I've been really wanting to do an LS1 swap for about 3 years.

I will be eventually getting another R31 that will be properly done.

i thought i was the only one, imo, you need some open header itb ( may be even rb26 yes i know, it involves taking out the turbo

Well this R31 is just going to be a track hack sort of thing and I've been really wanting to do an LS1 swap for about 3 years.

I will be eventually getting another R31 that will be properly done.

It just kind of... detracts from the experience. Kind of like putting a Ford small block into an E30 M3. It's faster and makes V8 noises, yeah- but it's just not as cool as seeing the S14 with all it's mechanical linkages and stuff. There are some things that need to retain the original soul.

Well I would've loved to put a Nissan V8 in it but they don't fit in between the strut towers.
