GM contacted me back already. Said he's been made aware and is looking into it. Will probably contact me tomorrow. My assumption is that they will compensate me for the loss of 2 ipods and the old ones will never be "found".

1 iPod classic 160GB and 1 iPod video 30GB. The 30GB has my old music collection on it, was my first major electronics purchase almost 10 years ago and is practically irreplaceable. The classic was my first gift to the wife. Both have some sentimental value.

Justin I had my galant broken into and my ipod was stolen there is a way to go into itunes and get the serial numbers if you file a police report they can put a watch out to thw local pawn shops for those numbers.

The iPod with my old music collection couldn't be sync'd anymore because it would have been wiped clean. The HDD that had that music got corrupted. I was using the classic for new music and my video for all of my old stuff.
