At least you saved most of your shit. Ubuntu takes some getting used to if all you've ever run is Windows. Best part about it is that it's free.

if its free its for me. so far it isnt bad at all. Im hacing to use a different email client and bit torrent client. but other than that, no big changes yet

You're right man. It isn't bad at all. I run it as a dual boot. If it wasn't for the fact that I shared the tower with the wife, it'd be running solely on ubuntu. My laptop on the other hand...

my desktop is still windows and will stay that way for a few reason.

1. I have a shit ton of media and not enough drives to put it on in order to wipe windows off entirely
2. I dont care enough
