Unless you are craving attention for mad E-repz, scraping the oil pan is not a good thing as it will lead to damage to the oil pan and could potentially lead to engine damage.

I've killed 1 oil pan, not a fun time when it happens. If I could raise the motor I would, but the top of the motor already touches the bonnet.

My pan sits higher than the subframe.

I could literally drive with the subframe on the ground and the pan is still protected.

      Nicely done Kia, nicely done.

I would imagine this is about what Chris is doing with his quarters.
        Name is Jonathan.

I know it isn't a lot. I was playing off of Chris' words. Obviously he has to mask the whole QP so he doesn't have to try and blend a small area. The bigger piece will match easier than a small section.

Well played Kia, well played indeed.

Crown will be getting an engine, gearbox and subframe lift.

Going to take out the shocks and springs and see how low this thing can go.. then make it go lower.

That sounds like a lot of work. Especially if you plan to try and keep the driveline angles proper.

Honestly I'd like to raise my motor about an inch just so the CV shafts aren't like thois:

you get the idea. the / \ are the cv shaft angles

                • Well the trick is to lift the engine and gearbox by the same amount.

The rear subframe can be raised or lowered without much effect on the drive shaft, but I want to raise it as much as possible to correct the angle of drive shafts if I will end up running -20deg camber

                    • I should look into a motor lift for the Galant. My cv joints have the worst angle on them. PLus it would give me that much more oil pan clearance.
