I used to race my Prelude, a lot. This past year is the first full year I haven't actually raced it.

I'd dabble in the SCCA's autocross events on the weekends, and I used to go drag racing a lot with friends. I really wanted to get into bracket racing, as I could be extremely consistent.

^This last picture was taken at the tree while we were waiting for a spill to be cleaned up at the end of the track, just so you don't think I'm some idiot who took it after the Stage lights.

Some pretty badass car show up too.

Track days are an awesome way to get to know your at. See how it acts at the limits and you don't need to worry about oncoming traffic or cops. It's safe, and a helluva lotta fun. Go for it man.

Indeed. That was almost three years ago, I kept trying to see how consistent I could be if I short-shifted at the same spots without killing the car. Sucks being at a higher elevation, otherwise I might have been a touch faster while staying consistent.

TL;DR: Yes my car was that slow.

This was at the last track day I was at.

It cut underneath me in a corner and then hit the big straight. I never saw it again.

Well, that's a lie, it passed me a few times. :

And noise. Oh lawdy the noise.

Track days are awesome but I can't personally afford that shit right now. Autox can be a lot of fun depending on the layout and who's running it. Drift events are the best bang for the buck IMO and always a good time.

Car is slow, but those are good quarter mile times for it.

IIRC that's right around what Honda says they can do from the factory.

                        My friend did a 12.54 in his LS1'd RX7.
