Stanceworks....the safe haven for the open minded?

thats probably what I like most about this forum...the **** is left at the login...everyone is very open minded here and accepting..theres no flaming or 13 page argument threads...I got tired of that shit
also for me personally I like things that are interesting to look at. I get bored with the same old cookie cutter modded cars I like seeing cars that are out of the ordinary or a little wild or absurd...theyre represent a level of personal involvement in the car. Not just oh I had my mech install these parts for me or I bought these cus everyone said it was the best..I like things that were chosen because they actually mean something to the owner..back when I first started modding my car sure it was rather plain and compared to alot of the cars on this board it still may seem that way but to many who know me know each element of my car is very much "me" and I like seeing other cars that represent their owners

All I can say is that stanceworks is the shit, I dont have to listen to purists tell me how I mod my car is wrong. While I agree about the fact that people would do that, I believe that we could at least do that without trying to force our opinion on the guy or getting insulting when that doesn't work. Yes, telling people to stance their cars is a normal reaction on here - but what do you expect? It's what we do. It's what we are all about.
The "what are they doing on this site"-question would be a somewhat valid one. While I feel that SW would be accepting even to a purist, as long as he doesn't get insulting like some other shining examples of so-called purists, the question would be a valid one, as this isn't exactly a purist's scene.

That's my point. We all get along because we are all in the same scene and there is really no quantifiable way for what is best.

The reason other forums are full of "******" is because it's a platform specific site where you get very different kinds of modders on the same forum. Here we just get the same kinds of modders with different cars.

Like on r3v you always have people agree on classic bmws being awesome. No one goes on there talking shit about old bmws. Same thing here, no one comes on ****** on low cars. Nothing to do with the member base being exceptionally kind, open, and all around perfect.
