Played vanilla, and it got really addictive on Burning Crusade. To the point i sat all day long playing when i came home from work.
To you new fags i used to run an Enhancement shaman at 2300ish rating in 3v3 and 5v5 at season 3 and 4 (this was when max rating was only 2400, not like now 3000 "don't know if this has changed, since last time i played"). and cleared black temple and almost all of Sunwell, got m'uru down but not kil'jaden.
So i was like 4 pieces of tier6 and 4 pieces of season 3 and season 4 gear. with all the best weapons, trinkets, rings, gems and enchants.
Held the highest dps record for enhancement shamans on Twins in sunwell and a server best dps record on brutallus.
Then when wotlk came, i stopped because it was getting out of hand, how much i played. Came back after a long time, leveled up. got a pvp team up to 2200ish, as a resto shaman with shit gear. (when the max rating was 2600). I really ***** being resto, tried to gear up my enhancement gear, but never got far with it. before my computer took a shit (thank god) and have not played it since.

It would take me a lot of money to get back into that game. I'm still intrigued with it occasionally, but it's changed so much since I quit that I don't even know if I'd be able to restart my old account; I'd probably start new.

I started during vanilla, got a Troll mage to 60 and ran 40-man raids for a while (MC and some BWL).

When BC came out, I leveled the following to 70:

-Same troll mage as before. Stuck with fire this time around. I miss my trinkets and pyroblast crits.
-Druid (tank, VERY occasional dps)

Did some raids, but mostly 3v3 PvP with the mage (with an enhancement shammy and a holy priest). We weren't very good; I attribute that to being in college and being stoned/drunk most every night we went into the Arena. I said a lot of things on Ventrilo that I can't take back.

When WotLK came out, I had quit for a little bit but came back for that. I took a disc priest to max level and raided as alternating healer/dps. Probably the most fun I had in the entire game, back when disc priests were a bit overpowered so I was outgunning some of the main healers.

Then I found the Healbot mod and my life consisted of watching boxes drop, clicking them, and watching them go back up. It was then that I realized I was choosing this over more time with my girlfriend, so I quit.

I've started trial accounts twice just for kicks to see if I'd want to get back into it, went back to my main account for a free month to level up a Paladin, but it never really stuck. Being out of college, I had so much less free time, so I said "fuck it" and haven't gone back since.

God willing, it'll stay that way.

I haven't played since a month after Cata was released. ***** WotLK, liked my goblin but ***** Cata. Switched to SWTOR, then to GW2 briefly and now I'm back to SWTOR again and having a blast.

I played since the release and all of my friends quit on me so I also quit. I played a little bit of Cataclysm got 3 85's did very little raiding then it got boring playing with random peeps We could start a stance guild lol.

I've played WoW since the 6th grade... I'm a college freshman now... shame on me.
Recently gave it up though. The bug will probably bite again someday, sadly..
Too many 85+ for me to name without seeming like a fat nerd...

Haha i am very surprised by how many of you guys actually play or played!

As of right now i am on Cho'gall with a few friends of mine and we all just play freely together and mostly do the PVP scene. Trying to finish gearing up to take arena to the next lvl for 2400+ ratings but im kinda just chilling with the game atm cause ill be 21 on xmas day so once i am 21 ill be doing the bar scene to get away from the game since i have so much free time and i am saving up money to work on the truck since i have HUGE PLANS this winter.
