  • Good deal?

Saw this on Craigslist and I'm wondering its a good deal or not.

Obviously I would check for the usuals when shopping for a used car of that age, but I know little about 911s.

    What do you guys think?

Don't know much about 911's. But if it's been "sitting awhile", it probably has some major issues and isn't worth 5000

That's what my initial thoughts were... I always wanted a older 911 but is it even worth it since isn't non turbo?

It's a classic 911. It's worth it, as long as you plan on putting a bit of work and effort into it.

WHo would put 80's bumpers and a 930 whale tail on a 1970 911? lol. It looks to be mostly all there so yea 5k isnt bad. Just be ready to maybe shell out more than 5k on parts to get it going.

That's what I was concerned about, I like the 80's body. But after seeing what a 1970 is supposed to look like, this one looks kinda funny. I guess it kinda ruins the value of it? idk

Car is worth $2500 tops. Any car that has been messed with that much and has been "sitting a while" is going to need an astounding amount of work to make it something nice.
