Just a hint when you lower a car- don't just lower the car
. Cut around the bottom of the car, but go across to the edges of the picture and select the whole top of the pic. This way the background stays looking the same in relation to the car. I'll get a pic of what I mean if you don't understand.
Edit: since we're all showing off our work

Way back in the day when I lowered my car and put Works on it.

I use 2 different monitors for my work, I have a LCD monitor for everyday use and I have a high quality CRT monitor because it gives off the truest color. It works great for my photo and video editing. Just a thought.

Yeah, I had no easy way to piece that SUV back.Originally posted by Richard_Gud. View Postwhat the fuck man. choppin' roofs off helpless suvs and shit.
It was, it was a simple way for me to cover up a spot I couldn't touch up (I would be working with nothing).Originally posted by RD408 View Postlol
Looks good. But that lexus in the back looks like its PS'd into the pic.
I've done many of these before, this was by far the hardest source to work with. Nothing in my background was easily replicable.Originally posted by SeanDub View PostThat chop is terrible. You did very basic shit, and its incredibly obvious. The fill in the fenders doesn't match, the drop does not look realistic AND you butchered the background.
Now that you mention it, the monitor is definitely the problem; it looks fine to me, but I haven't dialed in the color settings on FF and my monitor. Thanks for the heads up.Originally posted by Stan Marsh View PostChase, be careful when you are using a paint brush to fill in the shadows, I don't know if you can tell but on my monitor it sticks out like a sore thumb. Check out digimods to get some more help.
This is something I was working on to teach my friend how to do it. The car didn't have RS's on it and I never finished shaving the front bumper or touching up some other areas

Thanks for some of the compliments; others that ****, well...I hope a new member such as myself didn't waste your time.
