  • Traction Problems

You guys have probably seen my SC, but idk if its just because i have low tire tread or camber, but everytime it rains i seem to slide everywhere and not purposely.

Anyone with a slammed, RWD, and cambered car know how this feels? Or can help me out?

Like do you guys have to drive slower than normal or you just drive normal with no problems?

    Thanks!

I drove my car in 2" of water no problem. Cold, 225/45 R-comps, -3.5 camber, ~300ft/lbs+ and 2300lbs.

What are your spring rates, tire pressure, camber and width?

In my car on 20K springs, 6* camber and 60psi of air in tires, I slide EVERYWHERE. It feels very wild and I always have to be on top of my shit.

Holy shit, I retract my smart ass statement. I wasn't thinking about stretch. I'm running like, 35psi or something.

Camber + baldness + water = Very very small contact patch.
Either get new tires or drive like it's your last day on earth.

          But get new tires.

This. It's a combination of those factors. My e36 will feel super squirmy with camber worn rears on the highway in the wet. If the rest of the tire is fine it's a weird feeling though because it feels mad sketchy and will be out of control with no body roll but catch immediately when the rest of the tire makes contact usually right when it starts getting sideways. So when you drive behind me on the highways it's like I'm always out of control until I start to lose control, then I actually gain control if that makes sense lol. Just another reason why you want some body roll.

The Q's not nearly as bad. But then again it is a land yacht.

I run a 235/40 on 18x10s with -6 camber and 40 psi, idk if that makes a difference or not

And also is 40psi enough or should i go more or less?
