  • Racecar days may be over soon, time for a new exhaust

I'm pretty sure I'm the only person dumb enough to have a side exit exhaust on a Saturn. But hey, it's fun.

However, since I'll be going lower (significantly lower, but not static), I think it's time for a new exhaust set up.

Here's a picture of my ass.

    Uh, my cars ass, durr.

I want something different, maybe something out the center under the back bumper? Idk, has anybody else done any nifty exhaust things?

    I suggest

    1. Sell Saturn
    2. Buy something that isn't a Saturn or equally hopeless
    3. Fuck Idk I got nothing for 3

I think that's a bit out of the question. But if you have something useful, I'm all ears.

Center exit, make it loop under the rear axle for more spark showers after lowering. It's what I do now but I'm going back to a side exit after this weekend. Haha

I like what you have going on! I would do a flat tip though, pretty much like my current piping, only out the center. not so much a muffler like what you have. Why are you going back to side?

I have a side exhaust on my saturn wagon. I love it. And when i go lower then I will keep it, just shape and plumb it properly, I dont see any real issues. No lower or more add then if you added side skirts. Dont get me wrong harder, alot more work, but if it is what you like go for it.

Stick the pipes out the light holes in the bumper. Or make one really wide tip across the entire back of the car.

Honestly I doubt it. Local enthusiasts in my area are constantly being harrassed by law enforcement.

Problem trying to sell the Saturn is nobody else is going to want to buy it!

With that in mind you can go with Oval tubing to help gain some clearance.

Lol I have no plans to sell it at all. Somebody would buy it but I definitely wouldn't get what I have invested because there is no market for it. Thanks for the link though, Summit is actually little over an hour from me.

I honestly would really like to see it come through the lights in the rear bumper, that would be pretty badass.
