EDIT: Anyone know if running cork pads will allow me to use brakes on painted wheels?

I think my white Velocities are painted, not p-coated from factory, and I'd like to run a front brake and not scrape off the finish. Thoughts?

i used to ride bmx when i was younger. now im more out of shape than ever. so i dont put a lot of mileage on the bike. but one of my roommates rides it regularly

just picked up a '10 Specialized Langster L.A. last week, in process of getting a few things for it....then rode around for a while and found someone throwing out an old columbia 10spd thats getting converted to a fixie for fun.....pics tonight

id like to purchase a bike soon. ive always wanted to do some riding and exploring parts of the city which i have never been. the only problem with that is i dont think the hatch is big enough to fit 2 bikes even with the rear seats down. and the lady isnt about roof racks "womp, womp, womp....."
