Does anyone here ride bikes?

I'm kinda of new to the bike world, but I want to get one for summer. Living right next to the beach, it is nice to have a bike to take out there in the summer. My friend is selling a bike that I think I am buying tonight, it's only 40$ and is in good shape. I would love to get a fixed gear, but they are so expensive, and for me this seems like it would be perfect for an occasional ride (i know the picture sucks).

does anyone one else ride? or can answer any questions on them that I might have in the future? haha

I had a 85 raleigh fixie...i got rid of it only because i **** being tied down to the bike. I ride alot and collect and restore 80s bmx bikes. Ride that one in the pic enjoy and fix as needed

Just convert it! thats what i did to mine..i had a crap load of bikes from BMX to 10speeds

I ride a bike, but it has gears, disc brakes, and knobby tires. Weird, huh?

Not my pic, but the exact same bike, down to the tires. I got rid of the stupid spoke reflectors, bottle cage, and pedals. Replaced with platform pedals from a BMX bike.

Im also a big mountain biker, I have a specialized sx trail, dont have a good picture, and its broken down behind my bed in my dormroom. Heres what it looks like though, I got new tires, pedals, and bashguard on mine
