Fwiw, I was not trying to be dick. I'm simply saying that I personally cannot stand driving an auto. If you like them, more power to you. You'll never catch me driving one though.

I love driving a manual, but I would much prefer an automatic or SMG if I lived in an area with heavy traffic everyday. I would agree that a manual is much more engaging though.

Both have their place.

I love autos for daily driving and would not want to own a manual daily again.

For a sporty weekend car or something, I'd want manual tho.

awww ty, you guys making me feel warm and fuzzy inside... gonna start work as soon as im back in LA from Philly.

i drive the mini in "tip-tronic" mode %99 of the time. the R56 Mini does have a nice Sport Mode paired with paddle shifters and i gotta admit the up shifts are lighting quick, the down shifts are different story.

Refusing to own tons of awesome vehicles just because they aren't offered in manual is childish IMO.

Personally I love driving automatic. The only problem is that I end up on my phone and that ish is dangerous.
