    Where the letters are, I painted a light seafoam green, then you should put like 3 layers of clear over it. Then painted red. let dry very good. Then took a sanding block with 600 grit and just wet sanded where the letters were. The reason for the clear over the green and under the red, is so when you sand off the red your sanding into clear instead of the under color. so you dont sand through the second color to primer or bare metal. Then the whole ice cheat was cleared

    God I just read this thread over again. Some of you guys care way to much about stuff thats not yours haha

    And for any future poster, I DO NOT care how much its worth because I'm keeping it. If I was doing this to sell it everything might have gone differently.

    Anyways after forever long of it just sitting in the garage and the back of my bug, I scuffed it and primered again. Polished all the chrome bits. Painting it sunday.
