Okay, everyone chill out, especially the people directing their insults to certain people.

I'm sorry to keep beating this dead horse but i can't keep my mouth shut any longer. There are plenty of nouns that are also verbs. In fact, one of the many meanings of the word verbalize is "to convert into a verb", a COMMON practice in the English language partially due to the face that English has few rules to verb inflections.
For example, if you've ever read cooking instructions, you may have read something to the effect of "first brown the meat" Brown is an adjective, but in this sentence it is used as a verb.
So now can we please for the love of fucking god stop arguing about the word stanced. Arguing about it is fucking LAME.

the only things they let us work on are GA planes. All Ive touched are a couple un-noteworthy cessnas and an old 60s Beechcraft. Aircraft are neat but they hardly get me going the systems are basically the same as cars though. Im not real sure if ill even work in the aviation industry once I finish although its not bad to know a bit about planes...
t56-a-15? Like a c-130 turbo prop? You must be in the military. does that mean you're only stationed in Tokyo and not from there? Turbines are one thing I know very little about at this point, Id be interested to see some pics if you have them.

Okay, I want to set something straight. I am an aerospace maintanance student. I got a d twice in basic english. Im gunna be a little douche right now and say its kind of upsetting when people I dont know insist on correcting me on things I dont give a shit about. I dont correct the way you eat cereal.
Also, I call a car stanced because (not name dropping but) THE CREATOR OF THE SITE SAYS IT. and unless you are from a country that doesnt speak english, where you would probably have trouble hearing or reading slang because its not taught to you (in which case I apologize), you have no reason to be annoyed with my "slang" usage because roughly 15% of the words you probably use on a daily basis are slang derived.

all these are acceptable. what self-righteous prick decided to start this argument
I can say "You got some sweet rims on your whip" and yes, it can be understood as "You have nice wheels on your car," but it doesn't change the fact that I would sound like a dumbass saying it that way
No I was not an English major, no I'm not a self-righteous prick in any way, and yes I'm definitely taking this way further than it needs to, just having some fun

Stance is NOT a verb, it is an adjective to describe how a car sits and the general flow of the wheels and suspension (height) with the rest of the car
It could also be used as a noun as you can say stance is something a car has but it's not a verb
"dude, that car is stanced"
"man, that's some sweet stance"
"ahhh, i love teh stance"
