  • E46 Totaled, Need A New Beemer!

Heyy guys, I posted the thread about the airbags on my E46 goin off out of no where the other day and it looks like they are gonna call it totaled! I am very pissed about this but I guess it's a way to MAKE me move on . I would like to pick up either a E30 or E24. I was wonderin what I should look for in terms of problems and what not. I really wanted a E28 but my first 2 cars were 4drs so its time for a coupe ! So I want to know what I should be cautious about, I don't want a complete piece of crap! I have a couple of cars that I am looking at so I will post the links up later on, (I'm at work)lol. Thanks Guyz!!!!!!!!!

DUDE, WTF? They totaled it? I cant believe that it would cost more to fix the air bags than what the car is worth....

Well the service rep that is handling this said that it would cost around $3,500 to fix all the air bag shit and wut not, door panel, airbags, cover for airbags etc. And he said I had 2 bent rims, apparently I'm not as good at dodging potholes then I thought I was. And the car already had a couple of problems as all cars do. So he said currently its looking around 40/60. 60% it being called totaled 40% being fixable.

hmm, thats odd. my vote is E24 if you can find one. but with the money, you could prob get a decent E30 and an E34 to daily. i want an E34 to roll day to day.

                  This.
Strip the interior, fit buckets up front and roll it as is.
