BFC R&S is weak. If it doesn't have springs, clears, and CSL reps, it's no good.

R&S is a bunch of pop-collar E36 "bros" that drive (mostly stock) cars they think are too hot to touch. There are a very select few cars over there that impress me.

I can be found in the E24 subforum and the Middle Atlantic subforum over there, and that's about it. I will give it to the technical sections of that site - there is some good information. That's about it. I'll just say that our aesthetic taste differs from that site's, to say the least.

a car is an empty canvas, everyone creates their own masterpiece and if you are a true artist, you will be able to appreciate other artists work. grantid, some things do look a little off, but that person may like it so who gives a shit. i put superwhite bulbs in my head lights and everyone gave me shit, but its my car and anyone who doesnt like it can just suck it. end of story!

Im fairly new to the internet, we didnt get it at my house till about 3 years ago and I didnt join any forums until 08'. I basically havnt been talked about much on any forum anyway but seeing people randomly **** on someones car sorta bothered me, but to be ***** on for what I did to MY car? thats rediculous. its a car. not a rembrant. I didnt go out and buy the mona lisa and paint a mustache on it. I took a car that was semi-mass produced and made it a tad different so it could be picked out in a crowd of the same car.
Basically reading all the honest opinions of all these people who dont like what I "did" to my car...well lets just say I really dont feel like ever posting anything on any forum because I really dont care if anyone likes my car. I built it for myself anyway why should your opinion even be heard?

they're just as harsh on the Benz forums. MBworld isn't too bad, but BenzWorld is a lot like Bimmerforums. They want you to drive around looking like a 4x4 on stock 16"s with 65 wall tires.

I used to think 106Owners [; the forum for Peugot 106 related banter] was pretty accepting and had no short comings when it came to different styles of modding but I recently found out it's just the same as all the others...
