i drive my car everywhere, no matter if ive been or not. its not to hard i just scan the road ahead of me and drive slow. i hit everything everywhere so im kinda used to it. hell if i rid my exhaust off going to work then im sure i can handle anything else =]

My old car had less than an inch of clearance and I did okay, of course you're going to break shit and the drive might be stressful, but it's not like you can't avoid certain things.

The worst is driving on the highway, even at 65mph in the right lane you only have a couple seconds to react.

If stock cars came out of the factory with 2 inches of ground clearance, I bet a lot of people would pay more attention to what they're doing while driving!
Sits a TAD higher than this at the moment. Pardon the dirty wheels, just slammed it this afternoon.

I did once which then resulted in a horribly cracked oil pan.

Well, now I have a lot more confidence about going just an hour away, lmao. I'll be sure to bring some 2x4s just in case though!

I drive my car all over the place slammed.

Does it suck? Sometimes. Has anything bad ever happened? Not yet, knock on wood.

Skid plates just reduce your clearance, buy a steel oil pan instead.

Yeah, I do. Why not? Just deal with stuff as it pops up.

I'll be starting on a road trip to the UK from Germany, crossing through Belgium and France, and back in just a bit more than a week, going with my slammed E36 Touring with just roughly 1.2 inch clearance.

I have a skidplate, so just say fuck it and go for it. I've driven in Baltimore city multiple times with 1" of clearance.
