Yeah, I was seriously considering one of the i7 ones as my next editing rig and switching to FCP, but with these screen problems and Apple basically saying they don't know when they can guarantee flawless ones, I may just stick to PC's and Premiere.

Mine has the screen yellowing problem. It's not extreme but this isn't what you get when you pay this much for a computer.

you could build it online with up to 16gigs of ram and a 2tb hard drive, but damn is it expensive. i just got the "off the shelf" base 27". i was going to get the 21.5" more expensive one, but for $200 more, i could get the bigass screen.

I dont know the magic mouse, as I haven't given in yet, but I will soon. Just google it, Im pretty sure it can do it.

i havnt figured that out yet. is it like on the iphone? my dads macbook pro does that, and it is really cool. the magic mouse is a little bit different. 1 finger to scroll versus two fingers on the MBP. two fingers swiped across the magic mouse left or right to go back and forward, its three fingers on the MBP. but i dont know anything about zooming in with the magic mouse.....yet. the keyboard is pretty dope, but i miss my number pad, thats the only gripe. but i keep picking it up and looking at it because i think its so cool. kind of like when i got my iphone, it was really cool at first and everything seemed amazing. lol.

so far i think its fine. its hard to tell though. i'll keep an eye out for it for sure. i did buy the 3 year applecare for it just incase something decides to act funny. but i am still in awe over the size of the MF'er. the resolution is 2560x1440. im gonna need glassses pretty soon to read text.

Can't wait, i run my 6yr old iBook G4 but it is hard for him those times, LR, Photoshop, Illustrator and even Firefox! Lol
