  • Any detailers on here??

I am wanting to get into detailing a bit more to protect my ride than correct it, at least to begin. I understand a DA Polisher is needed for the correction process but I live in an apartment and want to at least be able to wash my truck properly.

My concern is the products. I understand you need a good washing glove, a wash bucket, rinse bucket, MF towels, and pads to wax with. I would like to use the HD product line but literally no one uses them by hand. I can not afford a DA right now so I am stuck with manual labor.

Can anyone shed some light on things for me?

Can't say I've tried much polishing by hand but if you want good results your going to want to invest in some sort of a polisher. I usually use a porter cable 7424 and have had awesome results. Dual action polishers take long enough, I cant imagine doing it by hand. I say save up and try to get a used one, they usually last a really long time.
