  • Spring Rate question

Hey guys! I had a quick question about how well matched spring rates have to be? Say I had a #500 and a #512 on the front would there be any noticeable difference/steering affects as opposed to having 2 matching #500 springs? I realize the latter is ideal but I am just curious as always!

    Thanks!

For street use, you wont notice the different, your talking a 2.5% difference, which is within most manufacturing specs.

Now a racecar, if your a good driver, yes, you might notice the difference. Most Club level racers tune in 50-100lb spring increments, so 12 lbs is minimal.
