Help me choose my next car!

My car is a 1999 323i

Basically a friend offered me $7,000 for my car. That is a great price and way more than what I paid for it in the beginning. She says she is a serious buyer.

Throw me some ideas, maybe your favorite cars for under $7,000.

I want it to be under $7,000 or barely over $7,000 and I want it to be less expensive to maintain than my current BMW.

There's always the possibility that she will flake on me but I'm trying to get ideas for a car I would want and I can't think of any. Your help will be really appreciated. Thanks!

Something inexpensive to fix when something breaks. I don't need a lot of horsepower but if possible then it's an added bonus. I'll be wanting to stance it and such so i'm not worried about speed.

It might be easiest for you just to name your favorite cars that are around or under $7,000

e28, 97 cobra, 72 240z, 89 mustang gt, kouki/zenki s14, e36m, ls1 camaro ss, e34. all i could think off for less than 7k around here

the s14 kouki can be found for less than 7k? I love those cars. Don't know anything about them though. I looked them up a bit and I thought they were more around 9k?

depends, I had a 97 es300 with 130k and it was very pricey, but I have heard others say it wasn't at all

alright then thank you guy's. I'll add the lexus Is300 to the list of possible choices.

The girl has seen my car around plenty of times before but she's going to go check it out closely tomorrow.

I hope she doesn't back out.
