  • What Car Do You Think Changed the World?

i was just thinking of this lol, i think that the ford model t changed the world production wise with its affodability and mass production, but i also think the 1957 lotus elite changed the way cars are made because i believe it was one of the first cars to use fiberglass (correct me if im wrong) and it's sexy as heck!

a lot of people don't realize how insane the original Minis are...they definitely changed things for the world.

                      this.

e36's can still hang with any car in production today.

Honda Civic. Why? They're one of the longest running production cars ever made. They've been used in countless forms of motorsports. They're literally fucking everywhere.

And let's face it- The Honda Civic is the epitome of the "riceburner" image to this day.

                          Agreed ^

I'm going to go ahead and nominate the Pontiac GTO, for kicking off the muscle car revolution, the Ford Mustang for initiating the concept of the pony car, and the Mazda MX-5 for being the first british roadster... to not be british at all.

And maybe not the world, but the LS400 was Japan's first entry into North America to really join the ranks of pure luxury vehicles.
