I have never seen this done before but I just got done looking at this thread....

Post your build threads here! Keep us updated on what you're doing in your garage.

What do you guys think about an E46 with bolt on fender flares? Anyone have any pictures of it?

    Thanks

If its not an m3 one you can bolt the m3 front fenders on and roll the shit out of the rears. Like this guy did:

and ther are bunches of e46 wide bodies like this :

I don't know if anyone makes flares for the e46 my ten min of google searching didn't find them... But there are not a lot of cars that can pull off bolting on some 240z flares and look good. I seriously doubt the e46 is one of them. Unless your putting down serious pow pow and need to get it to the earth on some monster 14" wide rubber. Then fuck it, do it. Because race car.

If you need to ask the general publics opinion before doing a modification, then you aren't building (or in your case "temporarily modifying") a car for the right reason.

I heard they come pre-plastidipped, so you may not like them.

Yea I've seen that done a lot but I really like the look of the bolt on flares. Yea I looked for them also and couldn't find anything Are there universal ones that would work?

I love the look on other cars but I've never seen it on an E46. Thats why i'm wondering.

100% serious, it would look like absolute dog dick. The lines of the E46 and current shape of the fenders do not lend themselves at all to that style. I'd rather spend money on widening fenders.

Yea that makes sense, thanks for being mature for a couple seconds I wish someone would have done it so we could see though.

If anyone finds pics please post em up!
