  • How to repurpose car parts laying around..

I’m new to these forums and thought I’d introduce myself. Apart from my love for cars (in particular stanced cars), I also like to up cycle and repurpose. I thought I’d share some of the items I have recycled. I resized the pictures so they’d be ok for the forum, if you want see more detailed pictures (before, after and higher res) then checkout my blog www.reinventingwheels.blogspot.com
    Enjoy!
S13 Silvia lamp that I converted into a bedside lamp

Old tractor seat that I made into a bar stool

Vintage Vespa (beyond repair- check my blog) that I cut up and remade into a lounge chair and a laptop work station

    Thanks,
    From a Stancer in Australia.

I always cry a little when people do stuff to vespa's that make it a non driving vespa
cool though but they need to be on the road

It had a nasty crack in the chassis, the motor was gonski and rust had gotten the better of it! Trust me, it was either I got it or the scrap metal yard did!
I think it had a better fate in my hands, I agree with you though! They should be kept on the roads like any classic, provided they are roadworthy!
Here is a picture of what it looked like when I got it:

although that isn't the best picture to check out what the damage is it looks good in my eyes
or at least nothing a little welding can't fix.
But that's just me really wanting an early model vespa talking

Haha I dig it, I've aways wanted to make an S13 brick headlight into an office lamp. Great work!
