I totally forgot about my last test and walked into class only to get surprised with it. I didn't do too bad I guess

I failed a Chemistry lab quiz because my teacher requires you to rewrite the equations (even though they are ON THE PAPER!), write it again with the substitutions, and then the answer.

she said that my equal signs were in the wrong place.

Example: Equation = Equation with substitutions = Answer. She said that's wrong and it is suppose to be like

Equation = Equation with substitutions
= Answer.

I might go complain to the department head about it.
