i have recently lost the only picture i had left of my first car.
like this:
but two tone powder blue metallic on top/navy blue metallic on the bottom. weld draglites. swapped 350[4-bolt main] threw the edelbrock catalog at it. th400 w/shift kit and stall. ~3.73 gears i think. exhaust ended around the middle of the car, cant remember the make of the mufflers but every bird in the neighborhood used to fly away when i would start it. maximum hoonage at all times. i used to go through at least two sets of fresh goodyear st white race letter tires a summer.
the speedo only went to 140kmh[80mph] and it would have just shifted into 3rd and i would bury the needle. i have absolutely no idea how fast it was but i know that was no car for a 16 year old to be owning. it was sideways most of the time, pavement or gravel and the car definitely got air on multiple occasions.
being completely out of control in that car and getting lucky in some hairy situations kinda taught me how to drive in a way. that sounds dumb and im not condoning reckless driving but pitching that boat around on back roads taught me about body roll and weight transfer and how it effects traction.
anyway, i got my first blowjob in there. regret selling it.
I never took pictures of it,but my first car was a gold 1997 Honda Accord sedan with 17" enkei CDR9 on some ebay coils, a makeshift intake, and some fake jdm headlights with blue bulbs. Circa high 2005
Unfortunately, I don't have any pics but it also was my first low car. GC's/Koni yellows on 3g Eclipse wheels, shit was clean but I don't miss it one bit lmao.
85 fiero, like a boss.. used to love it , now i realize how big a piece of shit it was. still have a set of .030 over forged pistons, and all the steel made for mounts to do a motor swap in a box. to go to a 3800 sc motor.
My first car was my '74 Monte Carlo. I worked side-by-side with my dad from age 13 up to the time I could drive. Every penny, every nickle, every dime I made went into this car. It has a freshened-up 350sbc with flattop 9:1 pistons, 500cfm 4bbl, long-tube headers, 2.5" true dual exhaust, TH350 with a shift kit, and a set of 3.90 gears with an Auburn limited-slip diff. I picked out the color of the car, my dad painted it- I helped him wetsand every inch of the car.
This is one of the very pics I have with both of my cars together- the day I got my Prelude, almost all of my focus shifted.
Activate flame suit....
1997 Chevy Blazer was my first real "Daily Driver". I cranked the front torsion bar up 1", added rear shackles, and some 30x9.5" Cooper S/T's. Two 12" subwoofers in the back, 1200w amplifier, all new Polk speakers throughout it, a drop-in K&N filter, and those stupid Silverstar headlights. There was a bunch of other little stuff I did to it, but none of it was worth mentioning.
It would literally go through any amount of snow, and drifted like a champ. It sucked on fuel and was a total parts muncher, but it was a pretty decent ride. I kind of miss it during the winter.
