Alright guys, what'd y'all get after camping out in front of your store of choice?

I personally didn't get out to do any shopping, but I am getting a new set of tires for the Mk4 mounted up tomorrow.

I got nothing. Everyone in front of me decided they wanted the 24" Visio 1080p for 80 bucks, so I got fucked out of what I wanted.

So I slept in my car until my friend made his way through Best Buy to grab his desired stuff.

I bought two 40" 1080p TV's @ Target for $265/each! I got in line at Target at 10pm.....doors opened at midnight.....and I was heading home by 12:14. Like a BAWSE! I wanted the 46" ones they had for $298, but they had a very limited amount of those (I was probably amongst first 50-60 people in the store) so they were all gone by the time I got in there. But settling for the 40" ones wasn't so bad.....at least they were $30 cheaper!

One is going in my new townhouse and one is a Christmas gift for the 'rents!

I'm getting my family gift cards this year (never know what to get them anyway), stuff for my e24 to get it back to roadworthy status (power steering pump and hoses, new wheels/tires in Jan), and a ring for my girl .

this. i don't think there will ever be deal that would justify not sleeping for a night. I'd much rather work a few extra hours at work or something then have to wrestle poor people to save 50 bucks.

I went out with some friends and just walked around the malls and watched all the dumbass people. I never buy anything on Black Friday, I just enjoy the people watching.

I got plenty of sleep. The whole "Black Friday experience" lasted 2 hours and 14 minutes for me.....I was pretty much in and out. Just gotta be smart about it. Like I said....I got in line @ 10 and was done by 12:14. Got home by 12:30 and had time to relax/chill before going to bed. And i'm pretty sure I paid at least $150 under retail for what the TV I bought goes for.

If you've never actually tried to get it on the whole black Friday thing, then you're probably just going off extreme scenarios you see on the news and whatnot. If you play your cards right and go somewhere that's relatively low key (there is like 6 Targets in my area.....I picked the one in the most rural area) then it can be a pretty enjoyable/productive experience.
