You go to school, AND make 60-70k a year? Something isn't adding up here.
Yeah? I only work during the summer too I made 59k last summer as my first summer in, this next summer I am going to a bigger company with higher payouts.

Tho i made about 60-70$k when i was 19 etc without any education working as a mechanic, tho i pay about 50-60% in taxes.
*edit; when working as a maritime engineer you only pay 35-40% taxes.

Yearly Income: about 15k € / 21k $... and about 40% of that goes to taxes, too. Not nearly enough, lucky that I'm still living at my parents.
Hoping to get a different job soon (IT-Support) which should net me roughly 25k € / 34k $. But I'm also contemplating doing this shit until next year, when the apprenticeships start again and apply for another apprenticeship, this time in some kind of job that actually pays good money. Or maybe go back to school.
