            • Age: 29 (Damn, I'm old compared to EVERYONE)
Degree/Major/Special Certifications: BSc in Mechanical Engineering. Professional License in Mechanical Engineering. 7+ years of Consultant / Design experience.
Occupation: Mechanical Engineer (Who would've figure??). One career position, Full time. Work takes too much time to do anything else on the side.
Yearly Income: High $70k before taxes, which seems pathetic compared to all the others who have posted, who are younger and doing something different. I thought engineering would pay out, but it's a lot of work and time to invest toward the career, for only a reasonable payout and much time away from family. What am I doing wrong?!?!

I'm surprised how young people are on here. Thought y'all were all old.

Planning to go back to college for Mechanical engineering technology either this fall or next, I spend too much money to only make $50K a year.
