1995 w124 e420?

Thoughts? I found one fairly cheap with only 85k miles. Not the one in the pic

They can be bad ass. But, check for a few things before purchase. New wireharness, if its the stock one you will need to replace it. and Rust, these are notorious for it. Other than that they are great reliable cars.

85k miles is just a first run for w124, theyr engines are million engines - they will run even after i die
I'm basicly inlove with mercs and w124 is one of my biggest favs. It's pretty cheap to run and theyr pretty comfortable too
the main enemy as BADwayz said is rust - check the wheel arches, then the place where front fender meets bumper - there's some construction error so rust gets there ocasionally
Be sure to have as much electro things as possible for example electro windows (be sure to check them too) - maybe climate

420 will be somwhat thirsty but will run great
And overall these cars are solid as rock - i'd say take it

P.S

the one on the pic is actyally a E500 merc
the suspension and other body things was designed by porsche and it has 5.0 merc engine wich was used in W140 (S-klass) mercs

it costs about 15-20k $ for a nice one nowadays - and its fast as hell

apart from tech stuff it has wider wheel arches front and rear - different bumpers, bigger stock wheels (18") and also only 4 seats - cuz between rear two seats theres a fridge to keep your booze chilly ;D
..and i want one so freaking bad
