Marco Simoncelli was killed at the Malaysian MotoGP race the other day. His bike drifted into the path of Colin Edwards and Valentino Rossi, and they couldn't avoid hitting him. The force was hard enough to blow Marco's helmet off, and Colin suffered a separated shoulder in the crash. CPR was administered for 45 minutes, but they couldn't save Marco. The video is absolutely brutal and I don't recommend watching it.
RIP Marco, I'll miss the hair, the all or nothing riding style, and the breath of fresh air that you brought to MotoGP. .

Its a very sad time indeed in the word of motot sport, its this time of year we should be celebrating people winning titles as the racing season is coming to a end,but sadly not R.I.P Marco you will be missed in MotoGP
I don't follow any MotoGP, but just actually seen the crash for the first time and having read some of his quotes seems like a great loss to Motorsport. RIP.
”Aren't you scared you might die in an accident?”
”No. You live more for 5 minutes going fast on a bike like that, than other people do in all of their life." - Marco Simoncelli
