I guess my cabin got a good amount of snow this weekend and is supposed to keep getting snow all week.

Aaaaaaaannnnnnnd I get to work all weekend instead. Damnit. I'm gonna get this Cat out if it kills me. I swear.

Thanks man, I was so happy it snowed.

We had a decent rip, and so far ( fingers crossed) the long range looks good for next weekend.

So after saying Fuck it and deciding to drive up north Friday mid-day right when the storm really starting dumping we were rewarded to some of the most epic all time trail conditions we have seen all season.

After a highly enjoyable night burn to a friends place and then to the pub for dinner and back we woke bright and early to sunshine!

And thus began another amazing day on the trails,

We rode till about 3 then we noticed the trails were getting more and more busy, and after my brother almost got ran off the trail by your random ass hole we decided to quit while we were ahead and we bailed after more then 150 worry free miles and more hi-test then my car burns in over 500 miles.

        lol.

I did a ton of riding with my dad this weekend, here's a few pictures that my dad took.
On our way to Ontario, NY on Saturday:

Riding back from Bill Gray's in Ontario, NY Saturday night

Leaving from my uncle's place in Walworth on Sunday morning

Yes, we all rode matching somewhat-matching sleds. You couldn't tell that we are related.

Just one pic from last weekend.

Got lost on Friday night waaaay back in the in bush close to midnight, then the pull cord on the Z let go. So it was a pretty hairy few minutes in the deep dark bush trying to fix the recoil with a tiny flash light.

Looks like tomorrow will be our last trip out they are calling for a bunch of rain that will kill every thing.

                That's crazy.

I guess there is not really any trails up there? you kinda just decide what direction you want to go in and head that way?

There is a trail marked out on the ice (frozen ocean) that you can follow up river or to another village. Other than that, if there is powder and there invariably is. You can go in any direction over ocean or tundra until you run out of gas. For a lot of people its just how you get around in the winter. Up here they call them snowgo's and any four wheeler is a "honda" lol! That Skidoo 800R is an endurance race winning rig. As I said before it is scary fast. The Polaris Indy Sport is old as sin and has no suspension travel but its vintage awesome. Its nearly killed me a few times. Gonna go caribou hunting soon. My brother needs to pick up a sled to haul the meat (they're both his rigs). He's building a couple of airplanes that should be even scarier than the Skidoo
