  • Any snowmobilers on s/w?

I keep hearing the seasons over, but I am getting excited. Bikes getting winterized next week, and just picked up another yamaha exciter, hopefully fabing up some bar risers tomorrow.

    Pic from last year

I am getting damn excited. Who else rides here? What do you have?

It's what you don't see that makes it a monster.

        The steed:

It works for now. i really wish it was a liquid 600, but oh well. Its good enough for around here and super easy to throw around.

My dream sled is a 440 rolling chassis with a mildly built 600 HO. Clutched and geared to top out at 90, but it will get there in a hurry. So much want. I've been riding for almost 12 years.

        The Kia has been parted.

Running to home depot tomorrow to get some longer bolts to mount it up.

Its been warm here but we finally got snow this week.

Before I took it out. Bar risers and hand guards on.

Fillled it up, my buddys sled next to it.

Buried it in a snow drift.

Then went for a little swim.

So its been a good weekend.

We've got my dads old racing sled, a Moto-Ski Super Sonic Liquid 340 Looks like this but with a Yellow hood instead

Have another old Motoski 340 Aswell, Forget the model
Then We have an old Safari 377 That I used to beat the shit out of, With no Windsheild and had bar risers. Looked like this

The best thing was When my Ex-brother in law showed up at my shop one night back in 06? when the Rev XP was still a Concept. BRP gave one to each Dealer to let them Test them before launching them. He rode it from the city to my shop then let me ride it for a couple hours. Heres some pics I took when he brought it.

Ah... triples. I just can't stay away. Picked up a 2002 Yamaha SX Viper 700 last weekend, and I have spent every waking moment since last Saturday to bring it to perfection.

Hood vents the wrong color, a giant exhaust leak at the Y-pipe, rusty/mismatched trailing arm, and it doesn't look like it's ever been cleaned properly.

                          And it begins.

Still have a ways to go.

It is an unreasonable amount of fun, especially when conditions play nicely.

There are few things I enjoy more than pounding 3-4' drifts on a sled. Just to give you an idea:
