I'm basically talking about people who don't put the time and effort into their cars. I appreciate when people don't have money, but that's not an excuse for shitty rides. (I'm talking to you all you graffiti Civics and other FWD cars.)

Rat rods have time put into them. They're not just shitty cars being rusted out...they're often the work of years and tons of creativity. Sanding the paint off the hood of an otherwise nice Golf makes me want to punch you in the face.

9/10 your original paint job would be better then your badly prepped, no care rattle can job you did in your driveway. (is that a fly in your paint?) I've seen people roller paint jobs on that genuinely look good.
